I have been creating and maintaining websites for years, with a goal of designing simple, attractive and user-friendly websites for small businesses and non-profits. New technologies continue to advance the web, so I offer to help you manoever through all of the choices, and create your ideal home on the world wide web.
Websites can range from one-page templates to sites with complex menu and database systems. Features can include forms, online payments, blog integration, photo albums, search engine optimization and interactive scripting/flash. Every project is different, so use the WEB.rates listed below as a general guideline for your project.
Maintenance contracts are also available for those who need to update their website on a regular or semi-regular basis.

Sawatde Thai Restaurant (starter site)
Sawatdee Thai's website was created with the goal of giving people a feel for the food and atmosphere of the restaurant, while making it easy to check out the menu and directions. Another desired feature was the ability for the chef to very easily post his daily specials. The website was created using Wordpress for ease of access and low cost.

Strong Heart Teaching Lodge (medium)
The Strong Heart Teaching Lodge's (SHTL) website was designed to be both attractive and educational for youth and professionals. With the help of illustrator Marc Gomez, an interactive splash screen was created to educate the viewer about the 7 Sacred Teachings. Navigation is easy and straightforward, and includes a slideshow feauturing art from SHTL youth and its affiliated programs.

Nature Manitoba (large)
Nature Manitoba's website was upgraded from an old setup that made for difficult navigation and updating. The new site is more elegant to moanoever through, and is also easier to update for the volunteer webmaster.

consultation
A one hour consultation is recommended to discuss the needs of your new website. This consultation will only cost you $25, and is included in the costs of the design, below. The consultation can take place anywhere within Winnipeg, MB.
design packages
Rates can vary depending on details such as existing graphics/logos/photos, and your needs for various website features.
starter site (typically setup wordpress) - up to 5 pages - $200
small - up to 8 pages - $400
medium - up to 20 pages - $650
large - up to 40 pages - $850+
Please use these prices as a general guideline, and know that additional features can be added at a rate of $35/hour. There may be some additional fees if you require web hosting or domain name registration (such as www.yourname.ca), see below for details.
hosting options

Option 1 (for a starter site only): Wordpress will host your website. Your website address will be "yourbusiness.wordpress.com". Website customization limited.
Cost: FREE -
Option 2: You can register a domain name "www.yourbusiness.ca" (or .com, .org, .info, etc.), and several email addresses "username@yourbusiness.ca". I will host the site on my my web server. We will have more customization options.
Cost: $30/year

Option 3: You will get a custom domain name (including subdomains), multiple email addresses for that domain, and your own host package/services. Typically needed only larger websites/organizations with potential plans to expand, and/or receive heavy traffic.
Cost: $60-120/year
maintenance
Rates vary depending on needs. A monthly maintenance contract can include several minor updates per month, but does not include any major content or design changes. Additional changes can be made, at a cost of $35/hour.
starter site: $10/month
small: $20/month
medium: $30/month
large: $40/month
Changes to your website, without a maintenance contract, can be made, at a rate of $50/hour.
